Andover Food Partnership Hosts a Workshop Focused on Growth

On Wednesday, June 25th, the Andover Food Partnership hosted an open workshop.
The Andover Food Partnership is a coalition of organisations dedicated to creating a fairer, healthier, and more sustainable food system for the Andover community. Our collective goal is to ensure that access to healthy, nutritious food is available to everyone.
Workshop Theme: Growing
The workshop featured a lineup of guest speakers, including:
Mike Pratt and Ed Burton from the TVBC Food Recycling Team
Libby Hilling from Andover Mind community gardens
Megan Handscombe, Green Space Officer from TVBC
Michael Parker from the Rooting 4 Andover community garden
Wendy Masterson , Head of Community Services at Unity, told us , "We were pleased to host a workshop that brought together passionate speakers and engaged attendees, all committed to exploring how we can grow a healthier, fairer, and more sustainable food system in Andover. The insights shared from community gardening to food recycling and green space management reflected a collective energy and dedication that made the session both practical and inspiring.
