Community organisations across the UK can now apply for funding through the One Stop Community Partnership Programme, which has officially re-opened for applications.

The programme offers grants of up to £500 to local organisations operating within a two-mile radius of a One Stop store, helping groups deliver projects that make a positive difference in their communities.

What Can the Funding Support?

The fund is designed to support initiatives that address local needs and improve community wellbeing. Priority areas include:

  • Tackling food poverty

  • Supporting vulnerable individuals

  • Supporting older people

  • Helping low-income families

  • Running youth sports teams

  • Reducing and recycling waste

  • Improving the local environment

Whether you're providing essential support services, creating opportunities for young people, or delivering environmental projects, this funding could help bring your ideas to life.

More Than Just a Grant

One of the unique benefits of the programme is that successful applicants receive more than financial support.

Alongside the grant award, the One Stop Community Team and the local One Stop Store Team work with funded organisations to develop a tailored support programme. This creates a long-term partnership that helps strengthen community projects and encourages lasting local impact.

Access to small grants can often be the difference between a community project continuing to thrive or struggling to meet local demand. At AFP, we are committed to helping voluntary organisations, charities, community groups and social enterprises identify funding opportunities that strengthen communities and improve lives.

The One Stop Community Partnership Programme is a great example of how businesses can work alongside local organisations to tackle important issues such as food poverty, social isolation, environmental challenges and support for vulnerable residents. As well as providing financial support, the programme encourages long-term partnerships between local One Stop stores and community organisations, helping to create sustainable local impact.
