The Andover Food Partnership (AFP) is recruiting a Food Partnership Coordinator to support the development of a fairer, healthier and more sustainable food system for Andover. This part‑time role (15 hours per week, fixed‑term for 12 months) will lead coordination across local organisations, community groups, food producers and public sector partners.
As a member of the Sustainable Food Places network, AFP promotes a whole‑systems, place‑based approach to improving access to good food, reducing food waste, strengthening the local food economy and supporting community wellbeing. The Coordinator will play a key role in convening partners, supporting delivery of the local food strategy and enabling community‑led action.
Key responsibilities include partnership development, strategy implementation, community engagement, digital communications, project coordination and basic monitoring and reporting. The postholder will also help identify funding opportunities and contribute to grant applications supporting AFP’s long‑term sustainability.
We are seeking applicants with experience in partnership working, community development or multi‑agency collaboration, alongside strong communication, facilitation and digital skills. A commitment to fairness, sustainability and inclusion is essential.
